Clubs
Dramatic ClubThese
student bodies not only help students to explore their
hidden talent but also help in areas such as personality
development and inculcating in the students the spirit
of organization by providing them a platform for hosting
their respective clubs presentations. Other than these,
we have the annual college events i.e. Lamhe in
September- October; Sports Meet in February and Mosaic
in March-April where the students show their creative
talents and present cultural bonanza.
Declamation Society:
Inter
college debate was organized on current affairs. 40
students participated in the event. Ms. Damanjot Kochar
brought laurels to our college by being awarded the
prize for 'The Best Speaker against the Motion.' Ozone
Day was celebrated in the campus by having a declamation
on topics such as 'Environment Pollution', 'Ozone-Curse
or Blessing' & 'Non conventional Source of Energy.'
Editorial Board:
A quarterly edition of technical magazine T-Zone is
published with contributions from students.
Renewable Energy Club:The
Ministry of Non-Conventional Energy Sources (MNES),
Govt. of India has given sanction for the setting up of
REC in our college. Students actively participate in
various activities for creating awareness for Renewable
Energy Technologies among the students and people at
large ,as per the MNES guidelines.
Entrepreneurship
Development Society: It encourages team work,
spirit of self-reliance among student members and
creates self-employment with support from public &
private sectors associated with Entrepreneurship drive
programmes.
Forum
ISTE:
Under the aegis of ISTE Chapter, “Faculty Development
Programme” was organized. Eminent educationists from
prominent colleges of northern region and faculty
members of Indo Global Colleges interacted with each
other in a ten-days development programme. This sharing
of knowledge helps the faculty in effective teaching.
IETE:
The IETE students forum arranges frequent meetings of
student members together with experts/academic/R&D/
Industry leaders as well as IETE centre's executive
committee members. Programmes of common interest are
also arranged involving students forum at many
institutions in the region.
Consultancy Cell:
It provides various consultancy services. The main
objective of the cell is not only to earn for the
institution but also to open up a two-way communication
channel between industry and our graduating students.
